Persepolis Blog #1
When I first started reading this, Marjane was introduced to the new law of wearing a veil. No one really understood why it was necessary but they still wore it. After that, all bilingual schools just because it was a symbol of capitalism. Later on in my reading, I see that Marjane finds out that her grandfather was a prince. She was amzaed by the fact her grandfather was a prince. She later on becames bummed because she was then told he was put in prison. It was pretty tough for her mom, and grandmother at that time. I think Marjane wants to become a prophet because she has a connection with God. She always talks to him about everything going on and she really wants to change everything that is going on in her environment.
